Bank of Montreal Capital Markets (Holdings) Limited, a company within the BMO Financial Group (being Bank of Montreal and its subsidiaries), acquired 100% of the share capital of Pyrford International in December 2007.
Pyrford is now part of BMO's private client group which provides wealth management services in North America and the markets in which Pyrford additionally operates: Middle East, UK and Europe. As of September 2009 BMO's private client group had total assets under management and administration of C$230bn.
